Zach Stroz has been accepted as a Finalist in the Honors Band for the 2012 American High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall. The CBA Jazz Band of Lincroft, New Jersey gained recognition on a national level with a performance at the 2011 Heritage Music Festival, a competition held in Philadelphia, PA. The CBA Jazz Band of Lincroft, New Jersey gained recognition on a national level with a performance at the 2011 Heritage Music Festival, a competition held in Philadelphia, PA. The jazz band ensemble brought home first place overall, the first such win for the high school academy. In addition to the ensemble victory, the festival awarded five Maestro Awards given to soloists within ensembles. Zach Stroz (trumpet), brought home three of the five soloist awards. Congratulations Zach!

The New Royalty started playing covers together in 2008 but have evolved into an exciting young band that plays original pop tunes. Fronted by former Rockit singer Bree Iafelice, the band also includes bassist Kyle Davis who had a stint with Rockit, Trevor Smith and Nick Iafelice on guitars, and Ricky Joyce on drums. The [...]

The band has a CD out called When Poets Dream, available on iTunes. On Sunday, April 10, they’ll be at the Stone Pony competing for a spot at this year’s Bamboozle Festival at the New Meadowlands.

Rockit has been proud to shape the young music careers of many students who have formed their own side projects or gotten involved in other notable music endeavors. Perennial Rockit students, Michael Delgado (guitar) and Greg Roberts (bass) have formed their own band along with former Rockit personnel Matt Bent (drums) and Bill Schneider (vocals) [...]
Rockit has been proud to shape the young music careers of many students who have formed their own side projects or gotten involved in other notable music endeavors.
Perennial Rockit students, Michael Delgado (guitar) and Greg Roberts (bass) have formed their own band along with former Rockit personnel Matt Bent (drums) and Bill Schneider (vocals) called The Fish Tank Mafia which has performed in several Central Jersey clubs and will play the Stone Pony April 9th at 3:30pm. Watch a live performance of “The Real Me.” On March 19, the band opened up for Vanilla Fudge at the Stone Pony.

Rockit is the premiere rock'n'roll experience for young musicians ages 8 to 16. Students learn a variety of classics from the rock canon in a group environment then perform live on the ultimate concert stage.
